Custom Die Casting & Investment Casting Service
Greetings from C.D. GREAT FURNITURE (CDG) Team!
CDG's casting serves manufacturers from other industries which need components of high versatile for their products. Industries we've served including:
- Medical Devices
CDG provides investment casting parts for medical devices.
- Industrial Machinery Accessories
Aluminum die casting products- LCD monitor arm from CDG turns industrial monitor into an active and clean workstation.
- Furniture Equipment
CDG provides ergonomic products that required die casting parts.
- Non-standard Equipment
CDG located in Taichung, Taiwan where gather mature metal and aluminum machining supply chains. With decade experience of shipping goods worldwide, engineering and manufacturing expertise, CDG is capable of manufact uring die casting parts across industry.
Cold Chamber Die Casting
The die-casting machine hydraulically injects the molten metal into the mold for cooling and forming under pressure. After the mold is opened, solid metal castings can be obtained. CDG uses the cold chamber die casting method for our aluminum productions. With cold chamber die casting, molten metal is transferred by ladle to the shot chamber. Afterwards, the plunger forces metal into the die at pressures ranging from 150 and 1,000 psi.
Advantages of cold chamber casting
Cold chamber die casting is a cost-effective process that create broad spectrum of shapes and components while having a long operating life and may be designed to complement the visual appeal. Other benefits that the cold chamber die casting process can provide including:
- Higher Density Cast Parts
The denser metal results from higher pressure and the faster processing speed used during the injection process.
- Material Variety
The cold chamber die casting is a preferred manufacturing method for metals that have high melting points such as metal alloys, aluminum alloys, zinc alloys, brass, and copper. When compared to hot chamber die casting, cold chamber solves the corrosion problem by separating the melting pot from injector components.
- Multiple Finishing Techniques
Cold chamber parts can be produce with smooth surface finishes which makes them easily plated or finished with a minimum of surface preparation. CDG is capable of working on all kinds of finishing including tooling manufacturing, cutting, punching, CNC, milling, polishing, grinding, painting, etching, silk screen
Investment Casting (Lost wax casting)
CDG is capable to provide investment casting method for metal component productions. Investment casting is one of the most popular metal-forming techniques that used in variety industries from aerospace through energy, medical and defense industry.
Advantages of Investment Casting
- Flexible Design
Investment casting has wide adaptability and is not limited by the size and thickness which is ideal for complex components.
- Material Variety
Most metal alloys can be used for investment casting which range from aluminum, bronze, steel and nickel.
- Tight Tolerances
Investment casting as known as precision casting hold tighter tolerances which reduces the amount of machining required.
- Superior Surface Finish
Investment casting uses a ceramic mold that gives a very smooth finish.
- Affordable Tooling
Investment casting requires less expensive tooling set-up cost than gravity-die or high pressure casting and is less dangerous which allows for cost to remain competitive.
If you need a company to create custom die casting parts or investment casting parts (lost wax casting) that are cost-effective and versatile, CDG is your complete resources.
